TouchGrass Is Shutting Down

Today I am sharing an important update: TouchGrass is being discontinued.

TouchGrass requires ongoing development, testing, customer support, and infrastructure. Unfortunately, there has not been enough support to sustain that work, and it has become difficult to maintain the product responsibly.

Because of that, I have stopped new purchases. TouchGrass will no longer receive maintenance, feature updates, or compatibility updates.

The TouchGrass website and server-dependent services used for trial registration, license activation, validation, deactivation, transfers, and update checks will shut down on December 31, 2026. After the shutdown, these functions will no longer be available.

If you purchased TouchGrass and already activated your license, the app will continue to work on that Mac without an expiration. You do not need to do anything before the shutdown unless you want to transfer your license to another Mac.

If you need to move your license to another Mac, complete the transfer by December 31, 2026. Follow the transfer guide:

The free seven-day trial remains available to download for now. If you already use TouchGrass, I recommend keeping a copy of the installer and your license key for your records.
